What are the Domain Registration Policies?

The Domain Registration Policies covers the terms and conditions associated with our registration of domain names. You must agree to the terms and conditions of this Exhibit, as well as the AlpineWeb Reseller Agreement before we will register domain names for you or your customers. Likewise, your customers must agree to the same terms listed in this Exhibit. It is your responsibility to inform your clients of this Exhibit prior to requesting that a domain name be registered on their behalf.

You will need to return a signed copy of the AlpineWeb Reseller agreement and agree online to the Domain Registration Exhibit before we will submit any domain names for registration. Domain names that are received prior to us receiving a signed copy of the AlpineWeb Reseller Agreement and online acceptance of the Domain Registration Exhibit will simply be placed on hold until the necessary Agreement is received.

How will I be billed for new domain registrations?

Just like the other services you receive from us, you will be billed directly for ALL domain names registered through us. This makes it your responsibility to collect prompt payment from your clients for the domains they request to be registered with us. You will be billed according to the existing billing terms and pricing. We will not contact nor bill your clients for the domain names you request that we register.

How do you handle domain name renewals?

As a service to you, we will automatically renew domain names registered through us for the same period of time you originally registered the domain name. Your account will then be billed for the renewal of such domain names.

If you would like to change the number of years we renew the domain for, you can easily do this by submitting the Domain Name Renewal Form at:
Domain Name Renewal
using the Domain Manager in the Reseller Backroom. Using the Domain Manager you can select the specified number of years you would like to renew the domain name for by clicking "renew" next to the domain name you would like to modify in the Domain Manager. Domain names may be renewed from 1 to 9 years. Please note that we will register the domain name immediately for the number of years you selected and your account will be billed accordingly.

If you would NOT like to renew a domain name, you can easily cancel the default renewal by clicking on "remove" next to the domain name you would like to cancel in the Domain Manager. By doing this, the domain name registration will be removed from our system. Hence, the registration of the domain name will lapse and eventually become inactive.

Who should be listed as the domain contacts?

You will be able to specify any Administrative Contact information for the domains you register. Your Customer Account will be contacted and billed directly for all new domain names and renewal of domain names.

We recommend you list the domain owner as the Organization and Administrative Contact.

What are the special requirements associated with .us domain names?
